We're currently looking for a talented and compassionate **Certified Dental Assistant** (CDA) to join our growing team.

**Position Overview**:
As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our practice. You will support the dentist during procedures, help manage patient care, and ensure that our clinic runs smoothly by maintaining an organized and sterilized workspace. We are seeking someone who is not only skilled in assisting with dental procedures but also passionate about providing an excellent patient experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assist with Procedures**: Aid the dentist during a variety of procedures, including exams, restorations, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgeries, implants, periodontics, pediatric treatments and other dental treatments.
- **Prepare Treatment Area**: Ensure treatment rooms are properly set up for procedures, including sterilization of instruments and preparation of necessary materials keeping in mind the safety protocols.
- **Take and Develop X-Rays**: Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as prescribed by the dentist and ensure proper patient safety protocols.
- **Patient Care**: Escort patients to and from treatment areas, prepare them for treatments, and monitor their comfort throughout procedures and address patient concerns or questions.
- **Sterilization & Infection Control**: Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards, including sterilization of instruments and proper disposal of materials.
- **Charting and Documentation**: Accurately record patient information, treatment notes, and diagnostic findings. Maintain organized patient charts and ensure all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards.
- **Inventory Management**: Inform the office manager of inventory levels and notify them of items that need to be ordered or restocked to ensure a smooth operation.
- **Administrative Support**: Help with appointment scheduling, patient check-in, and check-out processes. Answer phone calls, confirm appointments, and manage patient records when necessary.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the dental team, including the dentist, hygienists, and office staff, to ensure a seamless workflow and positive patient outcomes.
- **Emergencies and First Aid**: Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies, including administering basic first aid or CPR if necessary.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay updated on the latest dental technologies, techniques, and best practices. Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills.

**Qualifications**:

- **Certification**: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification or the equivalent required.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in dental software ( preferably Curve Dental), chairside assisting with all the dental procedures, taking dental X-rays, and understanding of dental terminology.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal communication skills, able to provide clear and concise patient instructions and communicate effectively with the dental team.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to anticipate the dentist's needs and maintain a highly organized work environment.
- **Team Player**: Able to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting with a positive attitude.

**Training and Probation Period**:

- **Training**: A comprehensive 2-week training program will be provided to ensure you're fully prepared to excel in the role.
- **Probation Period**: A 1-month probationary period will apply, during which your performance and integration into the team will be assessed.
