Principal Technical Consultant

**Job Title: Principal Technical Consultant (NOC 21231)**

**Job Type**: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

**Office Location**:2 Bloor Street West, Suite 724 ▪ Toronto, Ontario Canada ▪ M4W 3R1. Diona maintains a remote work model with occasional travel required.

(“Diona”) was established in 2012 with headquarters in Toronto, ON and specializes in the global social security, social services, and health and human services sector. Diona aids government agencies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of social programs and service de-livery. We do this by providing proprietary domain specific mobile solutions and specialized Cúram soft-ware technical consulting services to global social security, social services, and health and human services agencies and their technology and systems integrations partners.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop or advise in the development of architectural components for an implementation such as System Architecture and Component Diagrams, hardware and software configurations
- Develop or advise in the development of a project-specific development method or methodology, encompassing the flow from requirements through design, development, testing, deployment and support
- Review project architecture and design to ensure completeness, extensibility and configurability
- Collaborate with Technical Architects to implement the optimum solution with the chosen COTS platform
- Assist the Project Manager in scoping the implementation
- Lead teams of technical consultants/developers, if required
- Liaise with team members, COTS vendors and client stakeholders (as applicable) to ensure a quality project deliverable
- Prepare and deliver domain best practice/product capability presentations
- Present a professional and knowledgeable image to customers
- Other duties as required.

**Minimum Requirements**
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from recognized institutions..
- 10+ years of experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions related to social, health and human services.

**Compensation**

You will receive an annual salary in the range of $150,000--$160,000 or approximately $72.12—76.92/hour. You will be entitled to 15 vacation days and eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. You will also be eligible for discretionary, annual salary increases andpromotions in accordance with Diona policies.
