Assistant Controller

**TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for an Assistant Controller in Pickering, ON.**

**Overall Purpose**

Prepare and analyze financial data and reports for strategic planning in coordination with the Executive Team

**Reports to**

Financial Controller

**Responsibilities**

**Client relationship & Business development**
- Prepare invoices and submit through various customer portals for review and payment
- Liaise with vendors as required to ensure accuracy of expenses and liabilities
- Assist in ensuring financial strength to promote growth
- Review POs (new and updated) and customer bids for Business Development
- Contact for Corporate Amex cards

**Operations**
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including journal entries
- Participate in operational review meetings, as required
- Prepare semi-monthly US payroll entries and related reconciliations
- Prepare monthly international payroll entries
- Oversee employee expense reimbursements
- Upload monthly financial information into PBCS
- Assist with budget process
- Weekly cash flow report
- Assist with external audit for annual financial review

**Organization & management**
- Assist with analysis and reports on performance for company and departments
- Review accounts payable invoices
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

**Technical**
- Continuous process improvement

**Work experience**

- 5+ years of work experience in a Financial position/Accounting
- 5+ years of work experience in a service industry
- Exposure to ERP systems

**Education background**

- CPA designation preferred
