**Casual**

**SCHEDULE/HRS**:
**Weekdays or/and Weekends // 6:00-14:00 or 08:30-16:30**

**(shift times may vary based on department need) // 7.5 hours per shift**

**HOURLY WAGE**:
**$28.25 as per Collective Agreement**

**THE ROLE**:
The Scheduling Assistant assigns on-call shifts on a daily basis, and assist in the coordination of scheduling for the Client Services Department.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum certificate or diploma related to Staff Scheduling.
- Minimum one year experience in similar position or related duties.
- Experience with shift management and staff scheduling activities is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with accurate processing of data and ability to detect irregularities.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language.
- Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidence.
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.

**Standard requirements of the Weekend Scheduling Assistant include**:

- Criminal Record Clearance
- Medical Clearance
- Demonstrated competency in English
- Basic computer literacy
- Eligible to work in Canada
