**What are we looking for?**:
We are looking for a results oriented and talented Head of content to drive the overall content strategy, production and build meaningful partnerships to fuel user growth and the BetterSleep brand.

BetterSleep provides audio content to help people relax and sleep better. Our roster of sleep content is one of the biggest on the market and includes relaxing music and sounds, breathing, guided meditations and bedtime stories. We have writers, voice actors and creative producers that work together to build experiences that help listeners let go of their day-to-day stress and get rid of their sleeping troubles. We want to be the clear leader in sleep solutions and we believe content is an essential component of our success..

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic direction for content, defining evolving priorities in the context of a highly-dynamic ecosystem and market, helping guide global content investment, and developing region-specific strategies;
- Lead creation of exceptional curated audio content across our content categories (sounds, music, guided meditations and sleep stories) while also leading the exploration of new verticals and formats;
- Determine KPIs alongside the Product team and assess content performance based on data;
- Build and cultivate external relationships with brands, celebrities and influencers to increase brand awareness and user growth from dealmaking to production;
- Develop strong cross-functional partnerships, processes and works-flows across the organization (Marketing, Product, Data) to align the overall content strategy;
- Oversee the team’s project roadmap and resource allocation to ensure they meet stakeholder needs and drive towards strategic vision—while also staying within budget and timelines.
- Build and manage a team of creative producers, writers and audio engineers, mentor and coach them in order to enhance their skills and creative potential.

**Profile**:

- Passionate about content and the mission of helping millions of people to sleep better;
- Objective and KPIs driven mindset.
- 10+ years experience in content strategy and production including experience building and leading high-performing creative teams;
- Strong storytelling sensibilities and demonstrated success originating and producing extraordinary content;
- Proven track record in building strong deal and partnerships with celebrities, influencers and brand;
- Commercially minded and strategic thinker accustomed to evaluating new opportunities, guiding content investment, and making data-driven content decisions;
- Proven leader, motivator, who is unafraid to roll-up sleeves
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced scale-up environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills, including comfort working with talent and interfacing with external partners;
- Sharp communication skills: verbal, writing, presentation.
