**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**What You’ll Do**: With the overarching objective of Defining a Higher Standard in continuous improvement, the Documentation Specialist is responsible for coordinating shipments, processing orders and supporting the Production Coordinators. Working closely with the Production Coodinator and the Logistic Team the Documentation Specialist is responsible for the overall timeliness of shipments and all documentation related to those shipments.
**Work Environment**: This position is to be performed in person at our Saltair Sawmill Operation in Ladysmith, B.C., with safety protocols in place
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Operations**
- Review export orders and relays pertinent information to Logistics and Production Coordinators
- Record all offsite production runs including consumption and production
- Records all offsite truck shipments
- Prepares US Entry documents as required for truck and rail shipments
- Assists shippers with documentation and customs issues
- Assists with tracking of on site truck requests and shipments
- Balances offsite inventories each month end and resolves discrepancies within one working day of month end
- Reconciles all export bookings
- Tracks all export bookings
- Maintenance of the divisional open orders report
- Provide training and support to new employees to WFP
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education and Experience**
- 5 years working in the lumber industry
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline preferred
- Advanced skill set in MS Suite of productions and high level of proficiency with Excel and Pivot tables
- Experience with Lumber Industry ERP systems (LumberTrack, LISA, JD Edwards, etc.)
