Sarens Canada is currently recruiting for a detail orientated, solutions driven Finance Manager based out of our Nisku office. **Overview** **Responsibilities** - Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost management. - Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with all accounting standards. - Conduct risk analysis and manage compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. - Lead corporate accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting. - Manage treasury functions and cash flow analysis to optimize liquidity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development initiatives. - Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders, interpreting data to inform decision-making. - Ensure accuracy in fiscal management through account reconciliation and balance sheet management. - Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. **Skills** - Strong knowledge of financial management principles including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. - Proficiency in financial software and tools for effective data analysis and reporting. - Expertise in corporate finance, investment management, and treasury management practices. - Ability to conduct thorough risk management assessments and implement effective strategies. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for financial report writing and interpretation. - Strong analytical skills with a focus on profit & loss analysis, fiscal management, and account analysis. - Leadership capabilities to guide teams through complex financial projects while ensuring compliance with regulations. - A solid understanding of technical accounting principles including accrual accounting and revenue management.
