**Fairway Ford** is seeking a detail oriented **Autobody Technician/Estimator** to join our team. The **Autobody Technician /Estimator** is responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and performing high-quality body and collision repairs. This dual role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe repairs.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage.

Prepare accurate estimates using industry-standard software

Communicate with insurance companies and customers regarding repair timelines, costs, and approvals.

Provide clear explanations of repair processes to customers in a professional manner.

Perform structural and cosmetic body repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Complete welding, sanding, filling, and refinishing as required.

Ensure repairs meet OEM, safety, and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following company and provincial safety regulations.

Red Seal certification (Auto Body Repair Technician) or equivalent experience preferred.

**Qualifications**:
Experience as an autobody technician with expertise in estimating

Proficiency with estimating software and familiarity with insurance claim processes.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid class 5 driver's license or equivalent
