Barry’s Bay Home Hardware is looking to expand our team of valued professionals We are currently recruiting for a Cashier who is customer service orientated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
- Handle cash/debit/credit transactions.
- Assist customers with purchases and inquiries.
- Keeps up to date with in-store promotions, in-store deals, and product locations.
- Responds to and handles customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensures that retail basic tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking shelves/ display areas, changing labels, facing products, etc.).
- Keep a clean and organized workplace.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent customer and communication skills with the ability to remain consistent in professionalism when faced with challenging situations.
- Demonstrated ability to attention to detail with basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team atmosphere.
- Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to continually develop professional skills and knowledge base.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
