**Tax Assistant**
A.Fisher & Associates has been providing specialized financial services and are multifunctional management service providers for Insolvency.
**Duties**:
- Gather tax documents from personal and corporate clients
- Prepare prior, pre, post and in-bankruptcy income tax returns
- Review assessments and follow-up with CRA if adjustments are required
- Assist the banking department with statements of receipts and disbursements
- Responding to client and creditor queries
**Qualifications**:
- A professional telephone manner
- Ability to work in a target driven environment while maintaining and demonstrating a driven, positive, can-do attitude.
- Self-starter, driven with a positive and happy disposition
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Excellent administrative skills
- Attention to detail combined with an understanding of materiality
- Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines
- Conscientious, with a strong customer service work ethic
- Accountancy degree is desirable, but not essential
- Previous experience in tax filing is essential.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
