As a Social Worker I, you will be a member of a multi
- disciplinary team that provides mental health services to individuals, families and/or groups at a community based facility. You will be responsible for the initial screening of patients by gathering and documenting client information, basic assessment and providing support to clients and their families' short-term needs. You will liaise with and refer clients to appropriate community and government services and support, along with participating in case conferences and team meetings.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of diploma in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant addiction and mental health experience, preferably in a community setting. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and seek consultation when necessary. Ability to ambulate, climb stairs, and move quickly without limitations in a variety of environments. Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license. Experience and knowledge of the housing first, harm reduction philosophies of care.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Demonstrated ability to work well with a range of community and agency stakeholders as well as clients and families. Working knowledge of addiction and mental health community resources. Experience working with individuals who have barriers to housing.
