Assembly and General Laborer

Under the responsibility of the production supervisor, the Assembly and General Labourer plays a production support role by carrying out several tasks within the company, including assembly, receiving and shipping materials and parts, and cutting equipment. There may also be deburring parts, housekeeping during the week, and perform various tasks to assist machinists as needed.
- **Responsibilities**:

- Assembly
- Receive and ship materials and parts;
- Cut material according to cutting sheets
- Coordinate internal receptions;
- Inventory management of supplies and packaging;
- Drop off or pick up parts from suppliers or customers as needed
- Deburring / cleaning machined parts
- Driving a forklift truck to move equipment
- Assist with tool management
- Perform office and factory housekeeping tasks, as required, recycling, garbage can, bathroom and other
- Assist with tasks related to building management and maintenance
- Assist with tasks related to the maintenance of production equipment
- Other tasks according to production needs.

**Qualifications**- 2 to 4 years of experience in a production environment, **experience in assembly is an asset**
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Versatile and able to multitask
- Proactive
- Able to work in a team.
- Able to work overtime when necessary or requested.
- Valid driver's license
