**Job Title: Part time Dishwasher**
**Location: Detour Cafe Dundas street - 41 King St W, Dundas ON, L9H 1T5**
**Wage: $17.20 to $ 18.00 (Including Tips)**

**Hours: 15-25 hours per week**
**Start date: As soon as possible.**

Detour Café is a welcoming and vibrant space where quality coffee, fresh food, and community come together. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable one Part-Time Dishwasher to join our team and help keep our café running smoothly.

Our journey began back in 2009 in a back alleyway in Dundas, Ontario, filled with good vibes and with the goal of making coffee fun. As we expanded over the last 15 years, we have continued to operate with a friendly and approachable people first mentality, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, hard work and fun.

**Position Overview**

The Dishwasher plays an important role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the café’s kitchen and service areas. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with kitchen prep duties as required.
- Remove garbage, recycling, and compost following proper procedures.
- Support café staff by ensuring clean dishes and tools are always available.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times

**Experience Required**:

- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
