Pastry Chef/cake Decorator

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Design and decorate cakes for various occasions such as birthdays, weddings, and special events.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and preferences for cake designs.
- Prepare pastries and baked goods in accordance with recipes and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Package finished products attractively for sale or delivery.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in cake decorating is essential; restaurant or bakery experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods within the food industry.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Valid Food Safe certification

You will need to provide your own accommodation, and vehicle. You MUST be able to work legally in Canada.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
