Generator Technician - Job Description

**Title**:
Power Specialist

**Reports to**:
Senior Power specialist

**Summary**:
Rapidly growing Canadian company, that has built our success on providing gold standard Customer service. Our goal is putting the Customer first and meaning it Our Power Specialist would be responsible for many aspects of generator industry, working with a team to maintain our growing fleet of rental generators, servicing our existing Customer base and responding to calls. **Job Duties**:

- Deliver and Set up rental generator as needed
- Annual Preventative maintenance
- Load bank Testing
- After hours On Call - Emergency
- Efficient worker with limited supervision
- Knowledge/understanding of Natural Gas and Diesel engines
- Able to trouble shoot issues on site, mechanical & electrical
- Other duties as required

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience with generators
- Understanding of CSA C282-19 Guidelines for Generator Maintenance
- 310T License is an asset
- Able to read schematics
- Physically able to lift, up to 80lbs. repeatedly
- EGSA Certification is an asset
- PM3 or OBT license is an asset
- Experience with Transfer Switches
- Full Time and able to work overtime and on call
- Valid Driver’s License - in good standing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 56 per week
