Rodd Royalty Hotel is seeking Housekeepers to join their team

The Housekeeping Room Attendant ensures that all rooms and public spaces are kept clean and inviting thus ensuring our guests get a great first impression as they enter the doors of the hotel and feel safe and secure that the hotel is kept to the highest standard in cleanliness.

Main Duties:
Ø Provide clean and comfortable sleeping quarters to guests, by stripping and making beds and sofa-beds daily in assigned guestrooms to specified standards, and by flipping mattresses as required.

Ø Provide clean washroom facilities to guests, by cleaning bathrooms in assigned guestroom and public area’s to specified standards, including tub and shower area, toilet, vanity area and floor.

Ø Strip assigned guestrooms to specified standards, removing used amenities and Room Service amenities, storing lost and found, removing used towels, inspecting linen for signs of bed bug infestation (as per trained procedure) and special cleaning requirements, and disposing of garbage.

Ø Maintain assigned guestrooms in a clean condition by general cleaning activities as assigned daily, including washing, scrubbing, wiping, polishing and dusting all guestroom areas including glass, wood, brass, plastic, vinyl, and special cleaning duties as required.

Ø Maintain assigned guestroom in a clean condition by thoroughly vacuuming the entire carpet surfaces, regular emptying and cleaning of vacuuming equipment, and reporting equipment maintenance needs.

Ø Maintain standards of cleanliness in the shortest period of time by completing the steps of cleaning duties in specified order, transferring used linens to Laundry, disposing of garbage, and conducting a final check of cleaned guestrooms.

Ø Consistent presentation by adhering to all specified standards of placement in each room type for furniture, fixtures, equipment, amenities and linens.

Ø Ensure security of any assigned guest room keys

Ø Interact with guests by greeting them in the hallways and by providing information about hotel services, tourist related activities and surrounding community.

**Job Specifications**:

- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy and cooperativeness.
- Have high quality of standards for service, customer service focused
- Able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to grasp, bend and stoop, push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
- Honesty and Integrity.
- Flexible schedule, ability to work weekends.

Pay: $16.75 per hour
