Interested in helping students achieve academic success? If so, consider a tutor position with **Sylvan Learning Centre in Sherwood Park**. Sylvan is recruiting individuals who can tutor high school math and sciences. Tutors work with students in a 3:1 setting in centre, providing individualized instruction to each student. Tutoring is offered to students 4-8 pm on weekdays and daytime hours on Sunday.

Applicants are accepted who have a degree or who are in the 3rd or 4th year of a degree program. The person who best qualifies has a positive attitude, works well with students of all ages, and is an effective motivator.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8-20 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

COVID-19 considerations:
Masking is recommended but not mandatory for staff and students. Instructional area is sanitized after each tutoring session.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
