Sherwood Park AB TA Y, Canada Sylvan Learning Center Full time $36,000 per year

Interested in helping students achieve academic success? If so, consider a tutor position with Sylvan Learning Centre in Sherwood Park. Sylvan is recruiting individuals who can tutor high school math and the sciences and who can teach the Sylvan programs of reading, math, and writing. Tutors work with students in a 3:1 setting in centre, providing individualized instruction to each student. Tutoring is offered 4-8 pm Monday through Thursday and during the day on Sunday.

Applicants are accepted who have a degree or who are in the 3rd or 4th year of a degree program (B.Ed. preferred). The person who best qualifies has a positive attitude, works well with students of all ages, is an effective motivator, and has familiarity with the Alberta high school math curriculum.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
