The Jr. Logistics Coordinator will ensure product/loads are covered & assigned with carriers using our Fleet & 3PL Logistics structure, insuring and maximizing the most cost-effective way to meet all our customers demands.

**Key Activities / Responsibilities**:

- Arrange carriers for shipments from C.R. Plastic Products, Stratford ON, to customers.
- Maintain SAP Data Base with appointment pick up times, on time delivery times, and carrier rates.
- Monitor carrier performance for on time delivery and report statistics to Director of Transportation.
- Create Purchase Orders from SAP Data Base and provide to carriers.
- Communicate with carriers on pick up times, quality assurance shipping requirements, ability availability to perform Customs.
- Monitor and follow up on progress of all shipments through SAP Data Base, E2Open specifically looking at status of order from New, to Picked, to Verified.
- Source carriers and obtain approval on carrier rates with Director of Transportation & Logistics Team member.
- React quickly to changing circumstances to ensure delivery to the customer involving all key internal and external contacts.
- Maintain effective customer focused relationships with internal and external contacts including carriers, shipping, customer service/We Care.
- Enter and maintain carrier rates & systems.
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with onsite teams and Home Office.
- All Other Duties as required.
- High School Diploma with 2-4 years of related administration experience in a Distribution/Logistics/Supply Chain environment.
- Strong Bias for Action: resolve carrier issues and respond quickly to customer delivery expectations.
- Administrative Operating Skills: high attention to detail, with good organizational skills to prioritize workload and achieve daily objectives.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: good verbal communication skills, to constructively deal with carriers and competing internal customer demands, ability to assertively influence others to follow a course of action without formal authority to do so.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office/Microsoft Excel and future TMS Systems including Excel.
- Preferred experience in SAP S Hanna 400.
