Trico is dedicated to equality and inclusion in the workplace We’re looking for a skilled and experienced **Maintenance Supervisor**to lead our maintenance operations and ensure our facilities, equipment, and systems run at peak performance.

**Job Summary**:
The Maintenance Supervisor reporting to the Property/Leasing Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day technical oversight of building systems and team performance. This includes supervising maintenance staff, conducting inspections, ensuring high standards of repair and upkeep, and supporting preventive maintenance programs. The role works closely with the Maintenance Coordinator, who manages scheduling, work order tracking, and administrative support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and provide hands-on support to maintenance technicians.
- Inspect and maintain building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and verify quality of completed work
- Ensure timely and professional completion of all resident work orders and suite turnovers
- Partner with the Maintenance Coordinator to manage priorities, supply inventory, and work order flow
- Maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety, through scheduled inspections and reactive repair
- Support implementation of the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program and maintain equipment logs
- Oversee vendor activity for specialized repairs, renovations, or service contracts
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and building regulations
- Assist with budgeting and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies
- Being a part of the on-call rotation

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle.
- Technical degree or certification in maintenance or engineering is preferred.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
- Experience in Property Management Maintenance is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance software.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
