Assistant Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Food Franchise Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the franchise locations. This role ensures operational excellence, enforces compliance with franchise agreements, and maintains the highest standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support franchisees to ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement and monitor the brand’s sales strategies and promotional campaigns at the store level.
- Conduct analysis and reporting of operational data to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide support for franchisee sales growth and business development.
- Ensure timely response to store requests and adequate inventory management.
- Uphold franchise standard operating procedures and service quality benchmarks.
- Oversee customer service initiatives and respond to customer feedback.
- Facilitate the operation of training programs for new employees and ongoing development for existing staff.
- Develop and update training materials and evaluate the outcomes of training sessions.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve company-wide goals and initiatives.
- Lead the team in problem-solving and decision-making processes.
- Maintain a positive work environment that motivates and encourages staff to meet high performance standards.
- Manage crises by identifying potential issues, creating response plans, and making rapid decisions when necessary.
- Operate and manage Point of Sale (POS) systems, inventory management systems, and utilize franchise management software.
- Provide IT troubleshooting and technical support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Experience in food service management, franchise operations, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of business management, financial, and operational practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and manage staff effectively.
- Proficiency in IT and systems management relevant to the food service industry.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
