**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by efficiently managing assigned tasks to ensure timely service.
- Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts, ensuring that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
