Toronto, Ontario with licensed chiropodists on staff. Since 2009, we’ve been successfully helping tens of thousands of people with all kinds of conditions affecting the feet, toes and ankles, from mild to severe. Our mission is to provide the highest level of comprehensive footcare services in Toronto and ensure our patients have the best experience possible. We take a preventative and proactive approach to foot care to address foot health from all angles. Our mission is to raise awareness about foot health and give our patients everything they need to keep their feet healthy and improve their quality of life - from in-clinic treatment, to patient education, to helping patients find the right products to address their concerns. We offer a comprehensive array of services, including, but not limited to: custom orthotics, orthopedic footwear, foot assessments, biomechanical and gait analysis, foot care, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, fungal infections, wart removal, patient education, and more

**Duties**

This includes:

- Assessments for foot pain
- Footwear assessments
- Biomechanical/gait analysis
- Custom orthotics
- Medical pedicures
- Callus care
- Nail care
- Ingrown toenails
- Patient education
- Diabetic foot care
- Wart removal (freezing, cantherone, excision and needling)
- Administering local anaesthetic when needed
- Taking patient foot molds for footwear modifications
- Corn removal
- Fungal infections
- Surgical procedures (partial nail avulsion, total nail avulsion, wart needling, wart
excision)
- Issuing prescriptions
- Following and maintaining patient safety and COVID-19 protocols, including sanitizing rooms between treatments

**Requirements**:

- Diploma from a recognized school of chiropody
- A registered member in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
- Carries professional liability insurance
- New graduates and experienced chiropodist experienced welcomed, practicing chiropody medicine, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of chiropody care.
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment while maintaining the highest standard of patient care
- Friendly demeanor with great patient rapport, and an ability to interact with patients
in a warm, approachable and professional manner
- Willingness, patience and ability to effectively communicate with patients, educate
them about their foot health, and work with them to develop a treatment plan.
- Enthusiasm for raising awareness about foot health
- Address the needs of their patients and monitor them effectively over time
- Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff, patients and
organizational privacy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

- Doctoral Degree (preferred)
