Mathnasium Of Clarkson is a year-round math learning centre that teaches students based on their individual needs.

We make a difference in children’s lives through your passion of Math as we build their skills and grow their confidence

Instructors will be trained to teach using our methods and systems.

As the learning centre grows, there will be opportunities for advancement in positions within our company such as Lead Instructor, Assistant Centre Director, and Centre Director.

All instruction takes place in person at our Learning Centre in the Clarkson area of Mississauga.

The regular operating hours from September - June are:
Monday - Thursday: 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Friday: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 10am - 2pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Teaching Math to students between Grade 1 - 12, using the Mathnasium Method®
- Being Energetic and Fun when teaching new concepts to students.
- Willingness to learn a new way of thinking about math.
- Relevant tasks related to teaching the students such as administrative assistance and other related duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Exceptional Math skills ( We test your math).
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents.
- Energetic, Confident, and Caring personality.
- Professional and Reliable.
- Enjoys working in a team environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- University graduate or current university student from a program with an emphasis in math.
- Ability to teach students confidently in high-school math courses (Grades 9-12).
- Should be able to **motivate** students while they learn and allow them to work on new concepts while maintaining a **positive **environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.30 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 12 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
