**Who we are**:The Grand Winnipeg Airport Hotel is a locally owned 101-room boutique hotel located directly adjacent to the Winnipeg International Airport. Opened in 2023, the Grand Hotel by Lakeview was recognized as the 2019 Large Business of the Year by Tourism Winnipeg.

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Service Manager. The Guest Service Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel's front desk and guest services. You will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of guest service agents and bell persons, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, managing group bookings, and upholding the hotel's standards of service excellence.

**Responsibilities**:
1) Guest Services
- Knowledge of hotel services & facilities, surrounding area and attractions
- Proficiency in payment procedures
- Complete reservations, check ins, check outs, guest requests

2) Guest Services Management
- Oversee daily operations of front desk and bell stand
- Manage group bookings
- Maintain operation of front desk equipment & software

3) Staff Supervision & Training
- Recruit, train, & mentor guest services team members
- Implement programs to enhance customer service skills
- Manage weekly schedules and ensure proper coverage in all situations

4) Communication
- Ensure efficient handling of guest requests, complaints, & reviews
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Provide constructive feedback to staff

5) Administrative
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions & transactions
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on hotel performance
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures

6) Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in hotel management or front desk supervision
- High school diploma
- Strong leadership skills
- Flexible schedule, willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
