An Amazing company from Toronto, Canada is looking to hire a Product Design Lead to their team.
- Work with internal stakeholders, end users, and engineers to bring our best ideas to life.
- Work on the entire design lifecycle for the Upsiide product, including research, ideation, designing low and high-fidelity wireframes, prototyping, handoff, and QA.
- Mentor, guide, and build the Design team.
- Constantly iterate on and enforce our design standards across the product.
- Work closely with Engineering teams
- Designing accessible solutions for responsive adaptive web design and mobile web
- Identify, investigate, and validate complex design problems.
- Audit, evaluate, and redesign where necessary the existing interface and flow.
- Work in a cross-functional team with developers and QA to ensure that we iterate quickly while maintaining an appropriate level of quality.
- Work to understand clients and their needs for the product.
- 5+ years working in UX/UI/product design, ideally in high-growth SaaS environment
- Some experience leading a team
- Comfort level interfacing with and presenting to company leadership
- Experience working collaboratively with other departments, like Marketing, Sales, and CS.
- Experience working on world-class web and mobile software products supported by design systems, optimally contributing to those systems.
- Portfolio showcasing past and current work.
- Experience with low
- and high-fidelity prototyping/design tools (such as Sketch and Figma)
- Experienced in working with Prototyping Applications (InVision, Figma).
- Experience with creating design systems/style guides.
- Experience with Responsive adaptive web design.
- Experience with extensive and agile quality assurance practices.
