Pastry Cook

Overview:
Join our team as a Pastry Cook and showcase your passion for baking and creating delectable desserts in a dynamic kitchen environment. As a Pastry Cook, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team, contributing to the creation of mouth-watering pastries and desserts for our customers.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and quality standards.
- Decorate pastries and desserts with precision and creativity, ensuring an appealing presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dishes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any pastry-related inquiries or requests.
- Contribute to menu planning and development of new pastry items to enhance the dining experience.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in the food industry with a focus on pastry preparation.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, cake decorating, and food handling procedures.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in pastry presentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests professionally.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
