Southland Trailers has the opportunity for you Our Team is growing in our Materials Processing Department, and we are looking for our next great additions to the Team as full-time **Press Brake Operator**

Southland Trailers is happy to offer two different shift options for this role to cater to different schedules:

- Day-shift: Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Night-shift: Monday to Thursday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am

**What You'll Do**
- Set up and operate a CNC Press Brake for routine established work
- Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance.
- Load, install and correctly set up the tools required.
- Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
- Account for time and work completed.
- Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance from maintenance.

**What We're Looking For**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Press Brake or other machine operating experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate basic mechanical skills and aptitude, including safe operation of hand & power tools.
- Be able to handle items weighing up to and exceeding 50 pounds; this includes lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning items.
- Demonstrate appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills, including the ability to understand written instructions, and perform routine calculations.
- Ability to work effectively and cohesively in a team-based environment.
- Must have a positive attitude, be willing to accept feedback.
- Be willing to identify both problems and solutions in the workplace; continuously looking for ways to improve processes and environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
