**Summary**

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at Ducan Industries Inc. in Lethbridge, AB. A Wood Panel CNC Operator sets up, programs, and operates CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish wood panels according to design specifications. They work with various woodworking machinery, including saws, routers, and edger's, to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, or other wood products.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and Program CNC machines with the necessary specifications according to drawings or blueprints.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Perform regular quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Document production metrics and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve cutting processes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in written English, able to follow written direction and input accurately to CNC nests as required.
- Able to lift/handle standard paneling, and be able to assist in handling heavy larger paneling ( 1 1/8” x 5’ x 12’).
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and tools.
- Able to read and understand imperial fractions and decimals, as well as metric measurements on screen, paper and measuring tape.
- Proficiency in driving Forklift and pallet jack competently in tight spaces
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues - must be able to preform required maintenance.
- Familiarity with standard woodshop equipment (Panel Saw, table saw, rip saw, mitre saw, sanders, drill press, etc) is an asset.
- Quality control experience is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.41-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
