**Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
- Support the Head Chef in menu planning and special event preparations.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on meal preparation and presentation.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and food handling procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for the food industry and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
