We are seeking expressions of interest for QAQC Field Coordinators to help support a project at the Cameco McArthur River site located in Northern Saskatchewan.
We are pleased to be able to offer an underground bonus, signing and retention bonuses. Travel to Saskatoon will be compensated, this will be determined on a case by case basis.
Duration: 3 - 4 months, with possibility of extension.
**Job Title**: QAQC Field Coordinator
**Job Summary**:Construction inspectors inspect the construction and maintenance of new and existing buildings, bridges, highways and industrial construction to ensure that specifications and building codes are observed and monitor work site safety. Inspectors and testers in this unit group inspect, grade, sample or test raw materials and products from operations.
**Scope of Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all day-to-day work performed is done safely.
- Work with production team to ensure that all aspects of the project are done to the highest quality standards.
- Assist construction team to ensure all materials ordered for the project follow client, and Tron specifications and are accurate.
- Report daily to the construction team with quality progress and upcoming inspection and test plan hold points.
- Report a daily quality moment during morning toolbox meetings.
- Perform quality inspections at all phases of the projects at hand.
- Coordinate all Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) required for the project.
- Support and comply with existing Tron Quality Management Systems and ISO Process.
- Develop effective quality measurement tools, identify gaps within reports, and create action plans for correcting shortfalls.
- Work with team members to develop goals and set achievable targets.
- Maintain project Quality Control documentation to ensure the transfer of quality information.
- Identify, report, and track non-conformance to known standards and customer complaints.
- Assist the production team with all technical issues during project duration.
- Compile quality documentation from the project for the final turnover.
- Participate in site quality and regulatory audits.
- Coordinate with client and sub-contractor quality control inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Red-Seal Trade is required.
- 5 years of experience with QA systems, regulations, guidelines, associated standards, or field related job experience.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 QA methodologies OR proof of successful completion of major projects.
- Managerial or team leadership experience.
- Computer skills in BIM360, Excel, Outlook, Work and Adobe PDF.
