Fully accredited by Accreditation Canada since 1974, our commitment to excellence and safety is unsurpassed. **Job Summary**: As part of the Operations Portfolio, the Scheduling Clerk reports to the Director of Care and is responsible for all aspects of centralized scheduling and payroll submission for approximately 250 unionized employees. The Scheduling Clerk ensures all staffing issues are brought to the attention of the appropriate Manager and all tasks are completed in a timely, organized and efficient fashion in accordance with Ocean View Policy, Procedures and existing Collective Agreements. **Qualifications**: - Three (3) years' experience in scheduling for large numbers of staff in multiple departments - Three (3) years' experience in payroll completion and submission - Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite - Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy - High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability - Sound planning, prioritizing and execution skills - Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanour - Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing - Strong problem identification and resolution skills **Ocean View Continuing Care Centre Offers**: - Free Parking & on Bus Route - Comprehensive Orientation - A supportive work environment **Benefits**:We offer a comprehensive compensation package including: a pension plan, attractive benefits plan, and a competitive salary. **Only those granted an Interview will be contacted.** **Please be aware that OVCCC is a pet friendly environment.** Human Resources Ocean View Continuing Care Center
