We provide a variety of services, predominately for seniors and other folks that need a little extra help in day to day living. **Job Summary**:
Under the supervision of the Director of Finance and Administration (or designate) the incumbent will be accountable for the processing of payroll, administering group benefits, supporting WCB and disability claims in accordance with collective agreements (currently CUPE and NSNU), benefit contracts, pension plan text, accreditation standards, organization polices and legislated regulations for the Ocean View group of companies.

**Qualifications**:

- Three (3) years’ experience in payroll and benefits in a unionized environment.
- Accounting or business administration diploma and certification from the Canadian Payroll Association
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (predominately excel and word)
- Experience with ADP and Staff Schedule Care would be an asset
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
- Sound planning, prioritizing and execution skills
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
