**Responsibilities**:
A Barista provides customers with excellent customer service and efficiently prepares high-quality coffees and other products. The primary responsibility is to follow all processes and procedures that the company has in place while keeping in mind that the customer should always leave the Cafe with an excellent experience. The Barista will act as a cashier, drink maker, preparing food and keeping the cafe clean, while providing great customer service.
- Provide friendly, prompt customer service.
- Continually learn about our products and provide good quality foods at all times.
- Master the art of beverage preparation.
- Foster a good working environment.
- Welcome and encourage new staff members and act as a role model.
- Assist in training, supervising, and supporting staff.
- Maintain cleanliness in the coffee house at all times.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Resolve customer concerns.
- Follow good safety and sanitation practice
- Follow the dress code and store policies
- Create a safe, welcoming environment for anyone that steps into the cafe
- Be punctual and take ownership over assigned tasks

**Requirements**:

- Ability to commute easily to Lions Gate Hospital
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Motivated and creative team player
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
- Basic understanding of cash handling
- Previous work experience as a Barista is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.40-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
