**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee daily operations of dispatch office
- Managing business relationships between Kim Tam, Samuel and outside customers
- Active participant within Kim Tam’s management team
- Dispatching and coordination/scheduling of trucks on a J.I.T. delivery schedule & in compliance with government regulations, company standards, and customer expectations
- Check Daily shipping plan to build loads
- Appropriate billing for above duties
- Ensure System Integrity (Truckmate, AS400, Outside Customer portals (ex: Dofasco)
- Support & Communicate with the Sales Group to meet special customer requirements and on-time deliveries
- Assist Rates group when requested (ex: carrier quotes, sales quotes)
- Provide system training for all new and current office employees
- Responsible for sourcing carriers & freight to match business needs
- Active participation in ongoing business development
- Other related duties as assigned

**TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED ON THE JOB (Computer, Programs, Hand Tools, Crane)**:
Computer using the following software (MS Word, Excel), TMW Systems, AS400, D365
**QUALIFICATIONS (Education, experience, certifications, licences or special skills)**:
Dispatch experience, J.I.T. experience an asset, experience working with the Truckmate system an asset, ability to work under pressure, meet deadline and work effectively both independently and as a member of the team
