**The Easy Rider **is a specialized Snowboard, Skateboard and Stand Up Paddleboard shop with a huge selection and the most expertise in Canada. It is locally owned, and a unique place where the staff, and the owner ride everything we sell - we are experts in what we carry. In business for nearly 30 years we have amassed an expansive knowledge in regards to all things board sports. **JOB OVERVIEW** The sales associate's mission will be to assist customers in finding and purchasing products in a retail environment. You will be a key member in delivering a warm and friendly shopping environment for every customer. Your success will be measured through personal and productivity goals plus your ability to provide exceptional in-store customer service. Join our team where you can showcase your talent in sales. **Duties**: - Assisting customers with retail sales, arranging merchandise, stocking, inventory, and engaging with customers. - Register duties: Including running the POS system and handling cash and credit card transactions. - Answering Phones, assisting with repair bookings and status updates. - Greeting customers & sharing information about products and specific solutions to their needs. - Participating in "market research" like spending time on the hill snowboarding with co-workers & friends, product knowledge sessions, and store led events. **Must**: - Be over 18 - Actively Snowboard (skateboard and / or stand up paddle an additional asset) - Previous retail experience is preferred. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Day range: - Weekends as needed **Experience**: - Skateboarding, Snowboarding, or Standup Paddleboarding: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
