General Maintenance

Hourly rate starting at $24/hour and going up to $30/hour depending on experience, diplomas and certificates.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the health, comfort and safety of our customers
- Communicate daily with all project associates
- Respond to calls for service (CPA) within 72 hours
- Perform maintenance and alterations of unoccupied apartments in accordance with quality standards
- Perform general maintenance of buildings and common areas
- Coordinate apartment rotation inspections with customer service representatives
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and reports
- Ensure contractors meet deadlines and perform their work in accordance with the terms of the contract
- Clear snow, when necessary
- Touch up paint as needed
- Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
- Perform emergency services on call according to the schedule provided by the Area Coordinator
- Complete all the instructions required for the tablet position
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator

Professional requirements
- 2 years of experience in maintenance is an asset
- 3-5 years renovation experience preferred
- Technical requirements
- Working knowledge of French, both oral and written,
- Familiarity with tablet computers is an asset

- Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time

- Ability to take responsibility for actions and decisions and follow up until finalization
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities

- Flexible nature and ability to learn quickly and adapt to change

- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm and confidence
- Ensure that you have all the tools on the tool list before the end of the probationary period
- Up to eight hours per day to walk, stand, climb stairs and lift equipment
- Ability to lift up to 90 kg using the appropriate equipment
