Medical Aesthetician

DermaLux Medical Aesthetics is a Medical Spa located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly skilled and experienced team of Medical Aesthetic professionals and to grow within our company.

**Employment Type**:

- Full-Time Employment (35 - 40 hours a week)
- Part-Time Employment (15 - 30 hours a week)

**Schedule**:

- 4 - 8 hour shifts (flexibility with shifts depending on employment type)
- Shifts will vary from Monday - Sunday (days, evenings, and weekends)

**Salary**:

- $22.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications)
- Plus commission pay & bonus pay

**Qualifications/Education/Experience**:

- High school diploma
- Completion of an approved Medical Aesthetician program
- Preferably 1+ years of experience as a Medical Aesthetician
- Experience with providing laser treatments, chemical peels, dermaplaning, hydrofacials, microdermabrasion, and microneedling.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Performing client consultations and collaborating with the Medical Director and/or Aesthetic Nurses to design an appropriate client treatment plan.
- Performing medical aesthetic treatments including but not limited to: dermaplaning, clinical facials, chemical peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion, HydraFacials, and laser treatments.
- Cleaning and sterilization of equipment and treatment rooms.
- Receptionist duties when needed including escorting clients to waiting room and/or treatment rooms.
- Participating in continuing education seminars inside and outside of the clinic.
- Educating clients about pre/post care treatments instructions, answering client treatment questions/concerns, and recommending/selling medical grade skin care products.
