Genai Technical Analyst

This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely. _#LI-REMOTE_

**Position Summary**:
Vena is searching for an GenAI Technical Analyst to support us on our journey to adopt GenAI broadly within the company. We’ve recently expanded our technology stack to include Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft’s Power Platform and Workato - and we’re looking for a talented analyst to design and implement cutting-edge GenAI solutions to drive automation in our business. This role will be responsible for recommending technical approaches, designing integrations, understanding business challenges, and building tailored solutions to achieve our desired business outcomes. A strong understanding of GenAI tools, Microsoft technologies, and integration platforms is required, along with prior experience in implementing GenAI-driven solutions. Additionally, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work across time zones to support a global internal customer base are essential.

**What you will do**:

- Design, develop, deploy and support GenAI and Agentic AI solutions to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency.
- Utilize GenAI technologies and tools to analyze data, automate processes, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI capabilities into existing systems, business processes and workflows.
- Evangelize the use of existing GenAI training and to-be built GenAI solutions; drive adoption of said solutions throughout the business
- Ensure that AI solutions adhere to ethical guidelines and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI to continuously improve AI solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to solution offerings.
- Support IT projects, including systems migrations, integrations and new technology implementations.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of technology strategies that align with business objectives.
- Support a culture of innovation within the IT department, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of new technologies to constantly improve processes and services.

**Does this sound like you?**
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a technical position or similar role.
- Experience in AI technologies such as Agentic AI, Gen AI and tools, including: ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Power Platform, etc
- Knowledge of programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python.
- Experience in developing and deploying GenAI solutions to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of integration with existing systems, business processes, and workflows.
- Familiarity with GenAI ethics and compliance guidelines to ensure that GenAI solutions adhere to ethical standards and regulations.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on the latest advancements in AI.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI capabilities and deliver innovative solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important for gathering and analyzing business requirements, identifying issues, and proactively proposing effective solutions.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, ability to manage interactions at all levels of business.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in GenAI related technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field.
