OverviewThe Technical Support Analyst – Application Support provides hands-on support for multiple enterprise applications, focusing on incident management, access provisioning, and reporting. This role operates in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment and requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Job Details Primary Job Title: Technical Support Analyst -Application Support Alternate / Related Job Titles: Application Support Analyst; IT Application Support Analyst; Technical Operations Support Analyst; Systems Support Analyst Location & Onsite Flexibility: Toronto, ON — Hybrid Currently 2 days onsite per week; moving to 4 days onsite per week (mandatory, non-negotiable) Contract Details: Position Type — Contract; Contract Duration — 12 months (extension possible) Start: As Soon As Possible Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours Overtime: As needed Pay Rate: C$35 - 40/hr Responsibilities Provide application support for multiple business-critical systems Manage incidents and troubleshoot system and application issues Generate reports using SQL and other querying tools Perform access provisioning using ServiceNow and other systems, including Active Directory groups Meet defined SLAs in a fast-paced support environment Collaborate with technical teams to resolve application and access-related issues Support end users with clear and professional written and verbal communication Utilize tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel for daily operational tasks Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have: 3+ years of overall professional experience Proven application support experience Experience with access provisioning Report generation experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice-to-Have: SQL experience AML experience Banking or financial services experience Python (running scripts) PowerShell experience About the Company Top 10 Bank in Canada and North America A leading financial institution offering retail, commercial, wealth management, and wholesale banking services.
