**(Full-time, permanent)**

Trinity College School is currently seeking a Porter/Receiver to join our Culinary Services team. This is a full-time, weekday position with occasional shift exceptions. The Culinary Services team provides 1,000-1,500 fresh homemade quality meals daily for TCS boarding and day students as well as faculty and staff. As a boarding/day school, the kitchen and servery operate seven days a week during the school year excluding holidays. During the school year, the School also has many additional catered events that require culinary services. TCS has acquired one of the finest reputations amongst independent schools for the quality of meals and service to students and staff, in which we take the utmost pride.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming groceries, supplies and equipment while ensuring the accuracy of orders received and that product quality meets TCS standards
- Oversee to ensure that food and supplies are put away in a timely manner
- Ensure stock is requisitioned to the kitchen to meet demand requirements
- Adjust inventories constantly using inventory software system
- Adhere to industry standards by ensuring all storage areas are kept organized and clean
- Remove waste from kitchen and clean deep fryers, as well as help other team members in kitchen duties regularly

**Position Requirements**:

- Strong communication, organizational skills and work ethic
- Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team atmosphere
- Medium to heavy repetitive lifting required
- Comfortable inputting data using inventory software
- Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain), an asset
- Completion of police vulnerable sector check
