**The Role**:
Humboldt Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our dynamic field team and support critical water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution systems.

**In this Role, you will**:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in water treatment plants, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Work with control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation related to water treatment and distribution.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure system reliability.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes (CEC, local regulations).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.

**What you will bring**:

- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in water infrastructure electrical work
- Strong knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and SCADA systems
- Ability to work safely in confined spaces and follow site safety protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
