Dealership Accounting Clerk

**About Us**:
The automotive retail industry is a fast-paced and exciting environment. Pioneer Chrysler Jeep in Mission was founded in 1957 and is the oldest Chrysler dealership in BC. Since the current owners took over in 1998, Pioneer has expanded throughout the Lower Mainland and the province. The Pioneer Auto Group accounting department within Pioneer Chrysler Jeep is a lively department. We regularly get in office visits from other department team members including sales, service, and leasing.

**About the Role**:
This accounting clerk position will involve working in the accounting office at Pioneer Chrysler Jeep in Mission to support the whole of the Pioneer Auto Group. This role specifically entails the processing of deals and their corresponding warranties and trade-ins.

You will be required to communicate with other accounting team members as well as external team members including sales, leasing, and management. Communicating with external parties will primarily include warranty companies.

The role will include:

- Clear and timely communications with team members and managers.
- Processing deals based on when they arrived and other specified factors.
- Input deal information into a spreadsheet for another team member to further process.
- Summarize payouts required for the deal (i.e. - liens, etc.) and handoff to the appropriate team member.
- Prepare and post journal entries for traded-in vehicles.
- Process the floorplan loan for the trade-in vehicles.
- Warranty remittances and reconciliation: register warranties, as needed, and process outstanding payments.
- The use of enterprise software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Google Sheets, and various other programs.

Any prior data entry experience is an asset. Attention to detail is important for this position.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
