**THE ROLE**

Atlas Power Technologies is actively seeking an Assembly Technician to join our growing production team.

Reporting to the Mechanical Manufacturing Design Engineer, this is a full-time, hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Assembly Responsibilities:

- Assemble supercapacitor modules using basic hand tools and mechanical fasteners.
- Follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions accurately.
- Inspect electrical and mechanical components to ensure quality and alignment with specifications.
- Perform continuity and resistance checks as part of quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, complying with cleanliness and safe work procedures.
- Operate basic equipment and support testing procedures under engineer supervision.
- Accurately record build data and component traceability information.
- Lift, move, and manipulate materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Participate in process improvements and maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
- Support shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks as required.
- Work well in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and shift flexibility is required.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Mechanical or electrical assembly experience is highly preferred.
- Previous work in a manufacturing, warehouse, or technical environment is an asset.
- Experience using tools such as torque wrenches, crimpers, multimeters, etc. is a strong plus.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- WHMIS, OFA 1 or 2 certification is an asset and will be prioritized.
- Reliable transportation to the site is required.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, high quality standards, and continuous improvement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
