**General Labour/Order Packer**

System Equine is a growing Canadian-run company specializing in the equine industry located in the picturesque countryside of Rockwood between Guelph and Acton. System Equine has continued to grow over the past 37 years as a diverse family company, continuing to pave the way in the equine industry with our industry-leading stalls, fencing, and equipment. System Equine takes pride in our commitment to excellence and we are currently seeking a motivated and reliable **General Labour/Order Packer** to join our dynamic team.

As an Order Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently packing customer orders, preparing them for shipment, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently pick and pack customer orders according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate tools, equipment, and technology to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist in receiving incoming shipments, verifying their contents, and properly storing items.
- Perform general labour tasks, including but not limited to, restocking shelves, maintaining inventory accuracy, and conducting regular quality checks.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, order processing, and other relevant data.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in order packing, and warehouse operations, is preferred
- 1 year of customer service experience in a warehouse setting;
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification is a plus).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new technology systems.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

**Job Type**:
Full-time Permanent

**Salary**:
$20.00-$21 per hour
