**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Provincial Manager - Health Promotion, Mental Health and Addictions, the Take Home Naloxone Coordinator is responsible, in collaboration with NSHA health promotion colleagues and internal and external partners, for developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the Take Home Naloxone Program. The Take Home Naloxone Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring Nova Scotians have barrier free access to Take Home Naloxone Kits across the province.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Bachelors degree in Health Promotion is required (or equivalent determined by the employer)
- Masters degree an asset
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the health promotion field with focus on harm reduction, policy development, program design, implementation and evaluation
- Knowledge of best practices and research in the field of health promotion and substance use prevention
- Understanding of the research process and its role in evidence-based decision
- Superior coordination, presentation, facilitation, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and prioritize work is an asset
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills to effectively work with multiple internal and external partners in a variety of settings in Nova Scotia Health Authority and the community
- Demonstrated skills in health promotion, population health, community development, program planning, implementation and evaluation, social marketing
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Permanent, Hourly Full Time (100% FTE) - 75 hours biweekly
- Some travel throughout the zones may be required
- Location flexible within the province

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$31.85 - $41.63 Hourly
