JOB DESCRIPTION:
- We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master in the day-to-day support of dynamic and experienced teams. This role is also responsible for supporting the Product Owner, collaborating with other stakeholders, and facilitating the continuous improvement of the entire group, in large scale projects.
The Role:
- Support and facilitate continuous improvement
- Build effective and accountable teams that decide and deliver
- Coordinate the team in the delivery of operational and project objectives
- Ensure delivery by planning activities and deployments
- Ensure that risks and blockages to delivery are properly managed
- Involve the entire organization as needed
- Promote transparency and a healthy work environment
- Facilitate the understanding of Agile values and principles
- Make visible the gains associated with Agile
Required skills:
- Rigor in the management of the backlog, ceremonies
- At least 5 years experience as a Scrum Master in a complex digital solution delivery context
- Experience in agile methodologies (Agile, SAFe)
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time
- Excellent communication, negotiation and change management skills
- Continuous desire to learn and grow
- Understanding of the technical challenges related to Java development (Spring boot, APIs, microservices), AWS, DevOps and automated testing, and the different delivery stages (Architecture, Analysis, Development, Testing, etc.)
- Bilingualism in English and French required
