**Job Overview**
**Summary Description**:
Full Time Controller is responsible for all the accounting operations of the Company, including the production of periodic financial and management reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls to mitigate risk. Leading a team of 3 direct reports.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance)

**Skills Required**:

- 8+ years of progressive senior accounting/business
- In depth knowledge of finance, accounting, internal controls
- Exceptional ability to monitor, allocate and control finances
- Oversee the design and execution of financial accounting and reporting, corporate consolidation, cash management, payable, payroll, credit and collections, fix assets and the development and implementation of related systems, controls, procedures and policies
- Computer proficiency in accounting and software programs
- Provide robust, reliable data with consistent definitions to present a single view of the financial and business facts to support management decisions
- Strong leadership, managerial, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with the proven ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the accounting and control functions of the organization producing timely and accurate monthly/yearly financial statements
- Accountable for the development, deployment and implementation of all company methods, procedures and practices to safeguard the assets of the organization and to properly reflect its financial results
- Able to contain confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
- In compliance with business regulations and current on the latest accounting standards

**Duties**:

- Serve as a key partner to executive and senior leadership on strategic business initiative discussions by understanding and communicating the accounting and finance implications of various growth strategies and transactions
- Lead the preparation of annual operations budget, monthly and quarterly forecasts and variance reporting/analysis
- Oversees the daily operation of the Admin. Dept; including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, inventory, and cash management.
- Manages and evaluates the daily activities of 3 direct-report
- Develops strategic purchasing policies/programs that consolidate company spending and ensure return on investment; recommends cost-efficiencies
- Lead implementation of internal control policies, processes and best practices to ensure profitability and safeguarding of assets
- Preparing the company’s financial reporting, consolidation
- In compliance with business regulations and current on the latest accounting standards
- Responds to queries from customers, vendors, suppliers, employees, etc.
- Coordinates the provision of information to external accounting firm for the annual audit or review
- Ensures compliance with all federal and provincial reporting requirements
- Reviews contracts, analyzes proposals, tenders for supply of goods, services
- Manages and interprets contractual agreements and information
- Provides accurate financial data to Senior Mgt. to make informed decisions Executive presence with demonstrated ability to lead change and drive execution

**Shifts**:

- 8:00-4:30, Monday through Friday (may vary, depending on demands)

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar tools
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions
- Strong mathematical aptitude paired with advanced computer proficiency, enabling accurate data analysis and efficient task execution.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
