**Packager Responsibilities**:
Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.

Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.

Identify and dispose of defective items.

Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.

Maintain a clean work area.

Work with a team to assemble components or products in an efficient manner

Constantly maintain a clean and safe worksite before, during, and after production activities

Inspect product and report quality issues or concerns to Line Leader, Shift Lead and/or Production Manager for appropriate action.

Other duties as assigned.

**Packager Requirements**:

- Canadian citizen or permanent resident (ability to legally work in Canada)
- High school diploma/ GED.
- Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
- Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Demonstrates an eye for detail.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read and write English at the level usually associated with the completion of High School.
- Knowledge of using computers and printers.
- Bilingualism is an asset but not required.

**More Information**:

- Job Type**:Full-time**, Permanent.
- Reports to the Plant Manager.
- Working hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday
- Work location: BRAEBON Head Office - Suite 1 - 100 Schneider Rd. Kanata, ON
- Starting Date: Immediately
