**CLIENT ADVISOR, COMMERCIAL INSURANCE, SMALL**BUSINESS**:
Acera is looking for an ambitious, engaging, and experienced _Client Advisor _to join our IBU team. As our _Client Advisor_, you will have the overall responsibility for maintaining and growing a book of small business of accounts ranging up to $10,000 in premium.
**MAIN**RESPONSIBILITES**:
- Manage and service a book of commercial clients mainly focused on non-profits; professionals and technology risks
- Grow existing book of business by taking trade off from CE's as required and through organic growth;
- Manage the Pre-renewal and renewal process, including any remarketing efforts
- Follow workflows and ensure correspondence in accounts is kept clear and up to date
- Participate in the claims process;
- Responsible for the books accounts receivables ;
- Participate in up-sell and cross-sell initiatives to grow business;
- Assist the new business team as required;
- Works effectively and efficiently in our Broker Management System;
- Maintain a high level of customer service standards using our core values as the foundation of your service - Commit to Excellence, Take Ownership, Put People First, Make Work Fun
- All other duties as directed by management.
**LOCATION AND**STATUS**:
- Victoria, BC
- Permanent, full-time employment (35 hrs/week)
- Hours: Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm, In-Office
- Compensation: The pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related education, client service experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equirty. The typical pay range for this role is $55,000 - $80,000
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum Level 2 license;
- Minimum 2 years of Commercial Insurance experience;
- CAIB and/or CIP designation or on an education plan;
- Strong Initiative;
- Excellent communication skills
- 100% client focused and service oriented;
- Excellent organization skills;
- High level of follow-up and follow-through;
- Excellent time management.
